Craig Schlusberg is a Principal with The Chartis Group and national leader of the IT Performance Excellence practice. He has over 20 years of experience in healthcare information technology and focuses on helping providers achieve the most value from their technology investments. Mr. Schlusberg has advised industry-leading academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, community hospitals, long term care providers, physician groups and medical research groups. He has extensive experience in IT departmental assessment, strategic IT planning, system selection and implementation, budgeting and cost analysis, project and program management, and department management and workflow design. He is also experienced in working with most major hospital information systems as well as ambulatory and physician practice management products.
Mr. Schlusberg was a Principal of Aspen Advisors, a top healthcare IT advisory services firm that joined The Chartis Group in 2014. Prior to Aspen Advisors, he served as Director of the Healthcare Project Management Office (PMO) Advisory Services practice for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and its predecessor, First Consulting Group, Inc. (FCG). His responsibilities included assisting clients with IT departmental performance improvement, assessing and establishing PMO organizations, developing IT operational policies and procedures, and implementing automated project and portfolio management tools. He also led the development of Continuum™, FCG's project management and delivery methodology. He is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a member and past board officer of the HIMSS-Delaware Valley chapter, a member of the Project Management Institute and is ITIL Foundation Certified.
Mr. Schlusberg earned a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from the State University of New York at Geneseo Jones School of Business.
