Joe Schultheis is a Partner in Strategic Transformation and leader in the firm’s Private Equity Advisory practice. He has more than 15 years of strategy, financial, and operational consulting experience working with a variety of investor-backed healthcare services companies, academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, and physician groups. Joe’s primary areas of focus include performance improvement, health system partnership development, and enterprise strategic planning.
As part of his work with healthcare-focused investors, Joe has conducted buy- and sell-side commercial due diligence and has led portfolio company strategy development for companies operating across the healthcare ecosystem, including outpatient surgery centers, specialty physician groups, post-acute care providers, behavioral health platforms, healthcare data management and analytics platforms, ambulatory infusion clinics, and medical device manufacturers.
Prior to joining Chartis, Joe worked for a boutique consulting firm, serving managed care organizations and focusing on identifying and implementing cost structure improvement opportunities across each payer’s provider network. Joe’s work primarily focused on long-term care providers and ancillary provider networks.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University.
