With a formidable background in strategy and management consulting, Lauren McConville spearheads Jarrard's work with national and academic health systems.
Her forte: articulating and effectuating strategies across large organizations by tapping into a keen understanding of culture.
In addition to strategic plan development and launch, Lauren's specialty areas include mission-vision-values discernment and holistic internal engagement, culture work, and executive coaching and advising.
Lauren joined Jarrard Inc. from Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she served as program director of strategic analytics. At Vanderbilt, she led transformative change efforts, including a drastic expense reduction that drew national coverage. She also developed marketing plans for clinical innovations, ultimately securing a pilot relationship with one of the top oncology practice management organizations in the U.S.
Earlier, in her Chicago-based career at Bain & Co., she advised industrial goods, retail, and consumer services clients on growth strategies, cost reduction, and organizational design.
Outside of healthcare, Lauren served as chief of staff to the chief marketing and strategy officer of Nationwide Insurance. While there, she led the redesign of their 700+ person marketing team, developed processes to improve marketing capabilities, and co-authored corporate strategy in partnership with the chief strategy officer.
She is a graduate of Davidson College with a bachelor’s degree in English and earned her MBA at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler School of Business where she was a UNC Merit Fellowship recipient.
