Vivian Patterson is an Associate Principal with Chartis whose career in healthcare spans over 30 years, 20 of which have been in healthcare IT consulting. Her work with hospitals and health systems includes EHR strategy and implementation, process redesign, change management, clinical informatics, benefits realization, and analytics. Vivian has extensive experience working with client leadership on the development and execution of vision and strategies, as well as program management and IT-enabled clinical transformation.
Vivian's recent engagements include IT-enabled model of care redesign and EHR implementation for a multi-organization cancer alliance, operational readiness and change management for EHR optimization at a large regional health system, Clinical Informatics program development, and EHR strategy and selection for multiple ambulatory and specialty care clients.
Prior to joining Chartis, Vivian served in various leadership roles for two consulting firms and an EHR vendor focusing on strategy, implementation, and optimization. She also worked as Registered Nurse in NICU and quality improvement at a large academic health system.
Vivian holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Taipei Nursing College and a Bachelor of Art degree in Business Administration from California State University Stanislaus.
