Anthony Moorman is a Partner in the Strategic Transformation at Chartis. With nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare strategy and transformation, he has advised many of the nation’s leading health systems, including academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, national health plans, children’s hospitals, and tribal health systems. His consulting experience spans merger and acquisition advisory, partnership strategy, service line development, and market planning for organizations nationwide.
Anthony recently led strategic integration planning for the formation of Mass General Brigham’s unified academic departments across Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, helping align department leadership, governance, and organizational design for one of the country’s most prominent academic health systems. He also recently led strategy and operational planning for a major health system in the Mid-Atlantic, supporting the development of a new operating model and governance structure to advance physician and APP alignment and clinical integration. His recent engagements have focused on enterprise transformation, partnership synergy realization, and market growth strategy for academic and regional health systems.
Anthony first joined Chartis in 2016 and returned in 2023 after gaining valuable experience outside the firm. Between 2020 and 2023, he played a key role in product strategy, solution design, and product marketing for a healthcare technology company focused on improving operations and reducing clinician burden through artificial intelligence. During this time, he also collaborated with the White House COVID-19 Task Force to guide allocation of the national strategic ventilator reserve.
Earlier in his career, Anthony advised provider organizations on financial performance improvement, ambulatory strategy, and partnership development. He also managed financial planning and analysis for an end-to-end revenue cycle management firm.
Anthony serves on the Board of Directors for Trilogy, a Chicago-based community behavioral healthcare organization, where he chairs the Strategic Planning Committee and participates in the Finance Committee.
