Kristin Manzi is a Partner in Performance Transformation and a seasoned revenue cycle leader with over 16 years of experience spanning clinical operations, revenue cycle, and strategy. She brings deep expertise in Epic workflows and best practices, complemented by strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and their application across end-to-end revenue cycle functions.
Kristin advises healthcare organizations on revenue cycle optimization, performance improvement, and large-scale transformation initiatives, including Epic operational readiness and adoption. She serves as a strategic partner to executive and revenue cycle leadership, guiding organizations through transformation efforts, defining target performance metrics, and driving implementation planning and execution. She has supported multiple organizations through Epic adoption and optimization, aligning operational and technical priorities, establishing sustainable workflows, and embedding best practices across core revenue cycle functions and specialty areas. More broadly, Kristin has partnered with clients to identify and implement opportunities to improve performance, reduce inefficiencies, and drive sustainable financial and operational outcomes across the revenue cycle.
Prior to joining Chartis, Kristin held leadership roles across leading academic medical centers in Boston, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Medical Center. She led enterprise-wide revenue cycle initiatives spanning the Beth Israel Lahey Health system, driving improvements in pharmacy revenue cycle, charge capture across high-complexity service lines, financial clearance, and billing operations. In prior roles, she oversaw revenue integrity, pharmacy revenue cycle, and billing, leading teams to exceed performance targets across charge capture, lag, accuracy, cost to collect, and denials.
Kristin holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics and Management from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Sociology from Saint Anselm College. She is an active member of the Massachusetts-Rhode Island chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and holds Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) and Certified Specialist Physician Practice Management (CSPPM) certifications, as well as Epic certification in Hospital Billing Charging Administration.
