Hamish Stewart-Smith is a Partner in the Digital & Technology Transformation practice at Chartis, bringing 25 years of experience in healthcare strategy, technology, and operations. His career spans client delivery, business development, firm leadership, and strategic execution across the healthcare consulting landscape. Hamish has led complex, enterprise-level engagements focused on supply chain optimization, EHR implementation, IT strategy, managed services, and patient access transformation. He is recognized for his ability to help provider organizations align technology and operations to achieve measurable performance improvement and strategic advantage.
Before joining Chartis, Hamish served as Senior Vice President at Healthlink Advisors, where he led the firm’s ERP Service Line and oversaw marketing, business development, consulting operations, and account management. His earlier leadership experience includes roles at BDO, CTG, and Encore, where he drove growth and delivery excellence across multiple healthcare technology domains.
Hamish began his healthcare career at Greencastle, where he founded and scaled the EHR implementation practice. Prior to entering healthcare, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, leading Security Forces, Intelligence, and Hostage Rescue teams.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, where he also served as an Adjunct Professor, and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy, where he graduated with Military Honors and served as a Squadron Commander.
