Juho-Pekka Pöyry is a Partner in the Chartis Center for AI and Digital Transformation. He focuses on helping healthcare organizations build generative and agentic AI capabilities and accelerate adoption from strategy through operating model design and transformation. He brings experience spanning management consulting, enterprise software, software product and engineering, and venture building. Juho-Pekka joined Chartis through the acquisition of Leap AI, a venture studio focused on generative AI and healthcare.
Juho-Pekka’s expertise includes generative and agentic AI strategy, product and platform strategy, digital and technology operating model design, software product and engineering, and transformation. He works with leadership teams to turn emerging AI opportunities into clear priorities, scalable operating models, and practical implementation paths. He is recognized for clear executive communication and for bridging strategy and execution in complex, cross-functional environments.
Earlier in his career, Juho-Pekka was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised senior executives across the United States and Europe and led research into AI adoption in telecommunications, media, and technology. He also founded and ran a software engineering and design consultancy. This combination of consulting and hands-on operating experience gives him a practical understanding of how native AI and software players build products, organize teams, and scale delivery, and it informs the way he helps healthcare organizations move from AI strategy to adoption.
Juho-Pekka received a Master of Science in Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tampere University of Technology, Finland.
