Clayton Donahue is the Chief Technology and Analytics Officer for Chartis. As CTAO, he is responsible for advancing the firm’s data and analytics initiatives, and leads Chartis’ Advanced Analytics team, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic and business needs. Clayton also serves as the firm’s HIPAA Privacy Officer. He has more than 16 years’ experience designing, architecting, and developing data-driven analytics, applications, and pipelines, and is well-versed in Agile development approaches and modern analytic and data stacks—particularly Tableau, Snowflake, Python, and dbt.
Prior to his role with Chartis, Clayton led engineering at iVantage Health Analytics, a healthcare performance improvement firm. Clayton served as the organization’s VP of Engineering, then later as CTO. At iVantage, he led the re-platforming of the iVantage Performance Manager application, overseeing technology operations for the engineering team and offshore development partners.
Clayton holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College, where he majored in Computer Science with a minor in Russian Language and Literature.
