Cary Badger is a Partner at HealthScape Advisors, a Chartis company. Cary has over 25 years of healthcare industry experience with deep Medicare Advantage expertise, health plan operations, product development, marketing and sales, planning and business development.
Cary has assisted clients with market expansion and acquisition strategies, strategic partnerships, build/buy/outsourcing, new market and product entry, and overall MA and commercial plan performance improvement.
Prior to joining HealthScape, Cary most recently led the business and market development of four regional health plans at The Regence/Cambia Health to create new markets for growth, lower cost of acquisition, and implementation of strategies that prepare the organization for major shifts in government program policy.
Cary also served as founding National Director of Marketing and Database Services at AARP Services, Inc. and held leadership roles for marketing, sales, and health plan operations for Kaiser Permanente.
Cary has an undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Kansas, a master's degree in public health from the University of Tennessee and an Executive MBA from Stanford University. He currently serves as a Trustee for the Washington Health Benefits Trust based in Seattle, Washington.
