Tej Shah co-leads HealthScape Advisors, A Chartis Company. Tej works with clients across the healthcare industry to improve quality, experiences, and costs for patients through integration, standardization, and value-based reimbursement.
Tej has significant expertise in developing and leading clients through mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and partnerships, clinical and operating models, customer experience, and innovative care and payment solutions across Commercial and Government lines of business.
Tej is a Chartis alumnus who joined HealthScape’s leadership team in 2019. Prior to his tenure at Chartis, Tej served as Chief Strategy Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana. During his time at BCBSLA, Tej led enterprise strategic planning, consumer experience, and business development initiatives including entry into Medicare Advantage.
Tej received his MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
