Zahid Rathore is a Senior Partner in Digital and Technology Transformation. He is a seasoned healthcare consultant with 22 years of experience leading complex, large-scale health information technology initiatives for national healthcare organizations. His expertise spans healthcare transformation, IT adoption, and performance improvement across financial and business operations. Zahid is recognized for his outcome-driven approach and commitment to client success, leveraging a deep understanding of clinical and operational environments. Having grown up in a family of physicians, he is passionate about how technology enhances access to health and improves patient outcomes.
Prior to joining Chartis, Zahid served as Senior Vice President and a member of the executive leadership team at Healthlink Advisors, where he helped shape the firm's strategy, defined methodologies, and led high-priority client engagements across healthcare IT and operations. As one of the firm's early leaders, he guided clients through digital transformation initiatives and oversaw strategic planning, vendor selection, organizational resiliency, and technology optimization projects. Previously, served as Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Zahid is a recognized voice in health IT and enterprise resilience. He has co-presented in forums such as “When IT Systems Go Dark: Monument Health and Aspirus Health Share the Playbook,” addressing clinical continuity and IT outages, and contributed to “Rethinking Business Responsibility in Ransomware-Focused Catastrophic Downtime Planning” in partnership with HealthSystemCIO and industry leaders. He has authored and co-published perspectives on cloud migration, resilience planning, and IT strategy. In addition to his professional roles, he serves as an elected Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (ANC) for the District of Columbia, representing his community in local governance and public policy matters.
Zahid holds a Master of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University School of Public Health. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bates College and completed WEMT-B certification at Central Maine Technical College. Zahid is also a licensed Private Pilot with a Single Engine Land and Sea rating from the Federal Aviation Administration.
