Deb Johnson is Partner and Vice President of Learning with Chartis, where she is responsible for driving measurable business impact by designing, aligning, and ensuring execution of skill development for all Chartis colleagues. She has more than 30 years of consulting, talent, and learning experience and has worked to drive strategic change, cultivate hot skills, and enhance recruitment, retention, and advancement among large and diverse workforces.
Prior to joining Chartis, Deb was Chief Learning Officer for the Deloitte Technology Academy, where she drove tech skill development for the organization’s 170,000+ employees across the US, India and Mexico including AI, cloud, cyber, blockchain, and quantum computing as well as software engineering and major ERP packages. She has also led learning for Deloitte’s Consulting practice including leadership and professional skills development, new hire on-boarding, and industry/sector skill development. Deb began her career as a strategy & operations consultant, conducting strategic analysis and driving process improvements for clients in various industries including high-tech, telecommunications, media, healthcare (payer), and financial services.
Deb received her Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson Graduate School of Management. She also holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Dramatic Literature from New York University.
