Marcia Adams

Marcia (Marci) Adams is a Partner in Clinical Transformation at Chartis. Marci is a licensed attorney with more than 17 years of healthcare experience, particularly in areas of medical staff and graduate medical education operations, bylaws, governance, healthcare privacy, and corporate compliance. She specializes in working with medical staff leadership, hospital executives, and board members to ensure policies and operations are designed to ensure continued compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Marci works with her clients to design and implement bylaws, rules and regulations, and policies that are unique to the client's operations and needs. She has worked with a diverse range of independent medical staffs and executive leadership in a multi-hospital healthcare system to align and standardize governing documents and processes for regulatory and accreditation compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness. 

Before joining Chartis, Marci was the Vice President of Medical Staff Services for the Ascension Michigan Market. She also served as an Administrative Director of Medical Education, Corporate Compliance & HIPAA Privacy Manager, and Risk Manager. She has been a presenter at the Michigan Health Law Institute, Greeley National Physician and Hospital Leadership Seminars, and the Health Care Compliance Association.
