Samme excels in optimizing IT operations, driving process improvements, and implementing organizational change to enhance performance and efficiency. Her expertise includes vendor negotiations, enterprise service delivery, and aligning technology investments with strategic business goals to achieve measurable results and cost savings.
Prior to joining Chartis, Samme served as Vice President and Digital Strategy Service Line Leader at Healthlink Advisors, where she led a team of consultants delivering digital solutions that advanced client growth, operational efficiency, and transformation initiatives. Previously, she held multiple leadership roles at HCA Healthcare, including Chief Information Officer for the HCA MidAmerica Division, Director of Technical Operations, and Director of Physician Services, providing strategic direction and oversight for large-scale IT and clinical application programs across hospitals and physician practices. Earlier in her career with HCA IT&S, Samme served as Interim Director of IT for Physician Services Group, Manager of Application Services for EMR, and Division EMR Market-Based Analyst, leading EMR implementations, optimization efforts, and user adoption. She began her career as a Physician Support Coordinator at HCA Brandon Regional Hospital, supporting clinical technology integration and physician engagement.
Samme is a recognized voice on health IT trends and workforce challenges.
