Chris Jenkins

Senior Partner

Chris Jenkins is an innovative and results-driven healthcare technology executive with 30 years of experience in information systems leadership, operations, and strategic planning. He has served in CIO and CTO roles within large, complex health systems, leading multi-year technology strategies and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Chris has directed major programs including enterprise EHR deployments, IT security enhancements, technology infrastructure modernizations, and integrations of new and acquired hospitals. His collaborative leadership and deep technical acumen have consistently improved operational performance and advanced digital capabilities across the organizations he has served.

Prior to joining Chartis, Chris co-founded Healthlink Advisors and served as Executive Vice President of Digital Strategy and Enterprise Imaging, where he led advisory services focused on digital transformation and enterprise imaging strategy for healthcare organizations. During his nine-year tenure, he also held roles as Senior Vice President of Advisory Services and Vice President, guiding clients in technology modernization, IT operations improvement, and strategic planning. Before joining Healthlink Advisors, Chris spent 20 years at BayCare Health System, advancing from Technical Project Manager to Vice President of Infrastructure and CTO, and later serving as Interim CIO. In these roles, he oversaw technology operations supporting more than 25,000 users, led enterprise architecture and cybersecurity initiatives, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and directed Cerner EMR implementation and infrastructure modernization for a multibillion-dollar health system.

Chris is an established thought leader and respected voice in healthcare IT and digital transformation. He has contributed to Perspectives by Healthlink Advisors, including “The Next 100 Days: A Realistic Approach to Help Established CIOs Initiate Sustainable Change,” a framework designed to guide healthcare IT leaders in driving sustainable transformation. He has also been featured on This Week Health, where he discussed imaging AI expansion and hospital technology trends, sharing insights that help healthcare executives align innovation with organizational performance.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of South Florida and is certified in ITIL Foundations.
