
Rachel Bienemann is a Senior Partner in Financial Transformation at Chartis. She brings more than two decades of experience partnering with providers to achieve significant financial and operational improvements. She works closely with healthcare leaders to transform financial and operational performance by reimagining strategies, processes and technology.
Rachel has led engagements with large multi-state and multi-facility organizations, children’s hospitals, nationally recognized academic medical centers, multi-disciplinary physician practice groups, and post acute facilities. Over the course of her career, Rachel has led financial improvement initiatives that have generated more than $76 million in first-year client benefit and 25% increases in productivity. She has managed cross-functional teams through multiyear efforts to identify cost savings opportunities, improve performance, optimize technology and create system strategies and roadmaps for ongoing initiatives.
Rachel is an active member in HFMA as well as MGMA and holds a certification from the Center for Creative Leadership. She has been a featured presenter and panelist at numerous conferences including The Healthcare Roundtable CFO Forum, the Colorado HFMA Annual Conference, and the Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Conference. Rachel has also authored or has been quoted in Revenue Cycle Module and Hospital Access Management.
Prior to joining Chartis, Rachel was a Managing Director at Huron Consulting Group for 21 years where she was a leader on the Performance Improvement team. During her tenure at Huron, Rachel also held interim leadership positions as Revenue Cycle Vice President and Managed Services Executive for multiple large healthcare organizations. She started her career as a consultant at Stockamp & Associates focused on healthcare performance improvement within revenue cycle operations.
Rachel received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado with an emphasis in Information Science. She lives in Brighton, CO with her husband and two children.
