Toyin Falola, MD, is a Vice President of Product Management on the Strategic Intelligence and Technology team at Chartis. She brings experience at the intersection of clinical medicine, product strategy and development, and technology-enabled care delivery, with a focus on building practical solutions that support patients and clinicians.
Toyin began her career as a practicing dermatologist and operational leader within an integrated, community-based health system in Northern California. Her clinical experience shaped her interest in care delivery models, systems-level thinking, operationalizing technology in healthcare settings, and the infrastructure that supports frontline care. She later moved into product and strategy roles across venture-backed technology companies, where she embedded clinical, operational, and strategic insight into product development, AI-enabled tools, and enterprise innovation initiatives.
Prior to joining Chartis, Toyin served as Assistant Vice President of Clinical Strategy and Product Development at Providence. In this role, she supported system-wide digital innovation efforts and co-led enterprise clinical AI work, including governance, technology evaluation, and workforce-focused AI strategy. She was also a member of the executive leadership team for the Digital Innovation Group, which focused on developing market-facing digital solutions to address complex healthcare challenges.
Toyin received her Doctor of Medicine with honors from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency at Stanford School of Medicine. She continues to practice general and medical dermatology in an academic safety-net setting.
