Charles Anastos

Senior Partner

Charles Anastos is a Senior Partner with Chartis. He brings 35 years of healthcare experience, including 20 years in healthcare consulting. He is recognized as a creative and adept leader who has helped clients identify their business goals and translate their needs into actionable steps. Charles maintains a broad-based core of management competencies and has a deep understanding of technologies that enable specific business capabilities. His extensive experience includes managing the selection and implementation of complex financial and clinical information systems for health systems, community hospitals, and large physician practices/networks.

Prior to joining Chartis, Charles served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Healthlink Advisors, where he oversaw the firm's operations and client delivery. He previously served as Principal and Partner in the Health Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers and as Senior Vice President at Beacon Partners (now part of KPMG). In these leadership roles, Charles guided large-scale consulting engagements, focusing on healthcare IT vendor selection, system implementation, strategic planning, and operational improvement for health systems, community hospitals, and physician networks

Additionally, Charles holds a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) designation and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has been actively engaged in industry thought leadership as a past member of the Board of Directors for the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) Foundation. His professional affiliations also include HIMSS, MGMA, and participation in Gerson Lehman Group’s Healthcare Informatics Research Panel

Charles received his Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Management and his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bentley University. He is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems (CPHIMS).

What do you hope to help our clients achieve?

What I hope to help clients achieve is more than operational efficiency—I want to help them create healthcare systems that are better connected, more compassionate, and truly patient-centered. My goal is to ensure that technology serves as a catalyst for positive change, enabling clinicians, administrators, and patients alike to experience a system that works better for everyone.

What inspires you?

Through my own family’s experiences, I’ve seen just how short and fragile life can be. It’s what drives me to focus on meaningful work, strong relationships, and helping to make a real difference when and where I can.
