Austin Gresham is a Partner in Digital & Technology Transformation, bringing over 30 years of experience in Information Technology spanning from operations to strategy. In his current role he advises healthcare organizations the alignment of digital and technology strategies with clinical, operational, and enterprise priorities. Since joining Chartis in 2022, he has led engagements in digital strategy development, agile product management, and intelligent inpatient room design as part of the firm’s Hospital of the Future offering. His work emphasizes measurable impact, from improving patient acquisition and clinical outcomes to enhancing clinician satisfaction and reducing operational costs. Austin is recognized for his ability to translate complex technology portfolios into actionable roadmaps that drive sustainable transformation across health systems.
Prior to Chartis, Austin held senior leadership and advisory roles across several major technology firms, consistently bridging business strategy with digital innovation in healthcare and life sciences. At Dell Technologies, he partnered with global healthcare and life sciences clients to design multi-year transformation strategies, including cloud modernization and data management programs. As Field CTO at AHEAD and Principal at RoundTower Technologies, he helped organizations adopt AI/ML, IoT, and automation solutions, incubating new offerings and practices. There he also helped develop triage solutions for early COVID detection in ED's and Urgent Care, piloted an early hospital-at-home program, and led a team researching novel approaches to senior care in independent living aided by AI, ML, and IoT. Earlier in his career, Austin served in technical and consulting leadership roles, developing a reputation for architecting resilient, high-value enterprise systems. Austin's consulting experience dates back to 1999 when he founded a boutique consulting firm called Avail Technologies which he sold in 2008.
Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology. He has held multiple technology certifications from AWS, Google, Cisco and others and has been recognized with multiple industry awards. Beyond his client work, Austin contributes thought leadership through speaking engagements and publications on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies in healthcare.
