John Coyle is a Senior Partner in Digital & Technology Transformation. He has more than 30 years of experience in management consulting and is uniformly described as someone who enables others to identify and achieve outcomes beyond what they thought possible. John’s efforts leverage his deep experience and expertise in digital and technology business transformation, as well as his creative, yet structured, problem-solving approach.
He is recognized for his ability to build extraordinary, multi-disciplinary teams to set bold strategies, redefine customer experiences, rethink core processes, imbue new ways of working, and create powerful technology and data platforms. John consistently sets high expectations, prefers to swing for the fences, fosters a “one-team” culture, and invests in people to help them achieve beyond their own expectations of themselves.
With a career that has spanned leadership roles at three top consulting firms, John has had the opportunity to work across many topics and sectors to drive change and impact. Before joining Chartis, he was a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal. Prior to that, John was a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he led digital business transformation in healthcare services focusing on healthcare providers, payers and health services companies. He also has previous experience at Oliver Wyman Health and Life Sciences and Accenture. He is recognized for his ability to partner with clients from strategy through outcomes and equally enjoys leading teams and consulting.
John was sponsored to attend the Kellogg School of Management-Northwestern University and earned a Bachelor of Science, with Distinction, in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is passionate about his children, being active outdoors, and playing doubles tennis.
