Craig Schlusberg is a Director with Chartis in the Informatics and Technology practice. He has over 25 years of experience in healthcare information technology and focuses on helping providers achieve the best outcomes and the most value from their technology investments. Craig has extensive experience in information systems (IS) departmental assessment, strategic IS planning, business and clinical system selection and planning, merger and acquisition integration, budgeting and cost analysis, workflow design, and department management. He has advised industry-leading academic medical centers, health systems, community hospitals, long-term care providers, physician groups, and medical research groups.
Craig was a Principal at Aspen Advisors, a top healthcare IT advisory services firm that joined Chartis in 2014. Prior to Aspen Advisors, he served as Director of the Healthcare Project Management Office (PMO) Advisory Services practice for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and its predecessor, First Consulting Group, Inc. (FCG). Craig has authored articles on topics such as PMO design and ERP system transformation, and he has been a guest speaker across a broad range of IT subjects. He is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a past board officer of the HIMSS-Delaware Valley chapter, a member of the Project Management Institute, and he is ITIL Foundation Certified.
Craig earned a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from the State University of New York at Geneseo, Jones School of Business.
