The Chartis Group, a leading provider of comprehensive advisory services and analytics to the healthcare industry, announced that John McCullough joined the Informatics & Technology practice last month as a Principal.
“As Chartis helps healthcare organizations navigate this new era and build a reimagined healthcare system, digital transformation is at the forefront of what’s next,” said Gregg Mohrmann, Director, Informatics & Technology practice co-leader. “We’re thrilled to have John join our leadership team with experience integrating digital technology to transform care delivery and the consumer experience. His depth in leading complex digital transformation programs, breadth of experience across numerous aspects of IT — including ERP — and his expertise in academic system environments complements our team’s expertise and will be a further catalyst for our accelerated growth.”
McCullough brings over 23 years of experience as a technology executive adept at designing and deploying creative digital strategies and solutions that improve quality and lower costs. Prior to joining The Chartis Group, McCullough served in multiple progressive IT executive roles at the Cleveland Clinic. He has also served in executive positions at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Novant Health, and Salem Health Solutions.
“I’m thrilled to join The Chartis Group’s Informatics & Technology practice and work alongside my new colleagues as healthcare’s delivery and business models are at the precipice of major change,” said McCullough. “I’ve spent my career driving digital transformation, and I’m looking forward to continuing the work of driving what’s next for healthcare around the world in my new role.”
McCullough earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University and his Bachelor of Science degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. In addition, he was a Leadership Fellow at the Novant Leadership Institute (UNC School of Public Health).
