Chartis, a leading healthcare advisory firm, today announced Neal Cotton and Rajan Patel have joined the partnership to spearhead technology and financial transformation efforts.

Neal Cotton joins as a Digital & Technology Transformation Senior Partner with 17 years of experience in healthcare information technology. He focuses on helping healthcare organizations implement and optimize technology strategies to meet operational goals. Cotton has extensive large-scale implementation experience, overseeing application teams and developing near- and long-term roadmaps for electronic health record-supporting technology. Prior to Chartis, Cotton was a Managing Director at Huron Consulting Group and led revenue cycle engagements at Advent Health.
Rajan Patel joins as a Financial Transformation Senior Partner with 25 years of consulting experience, driving performance improvement for academic medical centers, large community-based health systems, children’s hospitals, and large multi-specialty medical groups. He specializes in organizational restructuring, shared services consolidation, strategic and financial planning, and labor productivity. Patel joins Chartis from EY, where he served as Managing Director for the firm’s Health Care practice. He also held director positions at Huron Consulting Group and Wellspring Partners and served as Senior Managing Director at FTI Healthcare.
