Kathy Meek is an Associate Partner at Chartis, bringing over 10 years of consulting and healthcare experience to the firm. During her time at Chartis, her work has concentrated on health system and physician enterprise partnership design and integration, governance and organizational design, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, service line planning, and physician group optimization. Particular areas of expertise include partnership and integration support, physician group optimization, and strategic and service line planning. She advises clients across the provider enterprise, including hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and physician groups.
Her most recent engagement was the successful merger of large Management Services Organization (MSO) providers and associated physician groups into a global pharmaceutical distributions firm. This engagement included building the integration playbook for provider acquisitions and executing on two complex MSO integrations. She has also supported opportunity identification, negotiation of transaction terms, facilitation of deal execution, and spearheading integration planning for an array of other provider deal types, including an academic medical center and university, and a private practice physician group with a health system.
Prior to joining Chartis, Kathy was a Clinical Coordinator for Rite Aid, where she developed and implemented strategic initiatives to expand business-to-business outreach, growing corporate clinical contracts across the West Coast Division. She expanded the Wellness Ambassador program across the West Coast, developed training materials implemented nationally, and trained, coached, and supervised more than 500 Wellness Ambassadors.
Kathy received her MBA from Yale School of Management and Bachelor of Sciences from Brown University.
