David Shifrin, PhD, brings over 15 years of experience in research, writing and content development to Jarrard Inc, a Chartis company.
As Associate Vice President, Market Research & Insights, he is responsible for coordinating and executing Jarrard’s research and thought leadership programs, as well as coordinating research on behalf of Jarrard’s clients. He leads Jarrard’s ongoing consumer and workforce research series, tracking key and evolving issues shaping the industry today.
Shifrin specializes in curating ideas and making technical concepts accessible to broad audiences, helping thought leaders ask the right questions and then move past jargon to present core messages in a meaningful way. Prior to joining Jarrard Inc. in 2019, Shifrin operated his own content development firm that served life science and healthcare companies. Later, he joined Health:Further, where he managed the company’s blog, podcasts, industry research and programming for the company’s annual conference.
Involved in the Nashville life science and healthcare community since 2007, Shifrin is committed to helping grow and connect those industries across the state. As such, he serves with the Life Science Tennessee Mentor Network. He received his PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from Vanderbilt University.
