Troy Brown is a Manager with the Chartis Center for Rural Health. Mr. Brown brings more 15 years of rural healthcare management and consulting experience, with a focus on Critical Access Hospitals and network facilitation. He has spent the last several years advising statewide rural networks on cost reduction, payor contract optimization and market analytics.
Mr. Brown’s recent work focused on preparing Critical Access Hospitals for alternative payment models and the intersection of population health management.
Previously, Mr. Brown was the Director of Business Services at the Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital, a Critical Access Hospital in Maine. In this role he was responsible for the daily operations of patient access, patient accounts, HIM, materials management, IT, community relations, development and hospital-wide performance improvement.
Mr. Brown’s clients have included state offices of rural health, hospital associations, FLEX/SHIP grant coordinators and critical access hospitals.
Mr. Brown earned his degree in management from Newbury College.
