Eric Mayeda is a Director with The Chartis Group where he leads the firm’s Private Equity Advisory Practice and oversees Chartis’ Analytic Services. He has nearly 20 years of healthcare management consulting experience—serving as a senior advisor to leading health systems, physician organizations, payors, private equity investors and healthcare technology firms.
The principal areas of Mr. Mayeda’s consulting practice include transaction diligence, enterprise strategy and growth planning, partnership development, delivery network formation and optimization, healthcare product and service commercialization, and clinical service line planning. Examples of his recent work include: comprehensive market, operational, IT and revenue cycle diligence on behalf of a PE investor for the acquisition of a large, multispecialty medical group; global product commercialization strategy for leading, PE-backed, healthcare analytics company; development of an enterprise strategy to drive local, regional and national growth of advanced clinical services for one of the nation’s foremost academic health systems; formation of an innovative regional partnership for pediatric services between a leading children’s hospital and AMC; and delivery network optimization plan for a regional health system seeking to enhance performance under its growing portfolio of value-based contracts.
In his role as the head of Analytics, Mr. Mayeda oversees product innovation and analytic services for the firm. He leads the design and deployment of new analytic solutions within Chartis and iVantage Health Analytics. In addition, he leads the firm’s Advanced Analytics Team which provides a range of data-driven services for Chartis clients including: comprehensive market and competitor analytics; clinical and operational provider performance analytics; predictive modeling; geospatial analysis; and custom dashboard and report development.
Based in Chicago, Mr. Mayeda is deeply committed to improving access to high-quality healthcare for underserved and underinsured communities. He serves on the Board of Directors of Erie Family Health, one of the largest federally qualified health center (FQHC) organizations in Illinois.
Mr. Mayeda holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University.
