Sandra Guillaume is an Associate Principal with Chartis. She is a healthcare information technology professional with over 23 years of experience spanning strategic and operational leadership across a wide span of IT initiatives within health delivery organizations including system selections, mergers and acquisitions, integration-focused initiatives, operational roles, and clinical information systems. Her expertise includes providing IT program management for system design and full life-cycle implementation leadership including building, testing, and training through go-live support. She has experience in clinical systems for ambulatory, inpatient, and emergency department information systems and ancillary systems. Additionally, Sandra has provided interim operations management leadership for CIO and senior director roles. She has significant experience in strategic assessments and planning, contract assessment initiatives, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) planning for Cerner and Epic systems most notably, and vendor selection and proposal management.
Sandra has additional experience within Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) initiatives. She has provided expert project leadership for Business Intelligence and clinical analytics, business and service line development, operational assessments, clinical system readiness assessment, and implementation planning. Additionally, Sandra's early experience as an Admissions, Registration, and Medical Billing Coordinator brings further credibility to her work.
Prior to joining Chartis, Sandra worked with Beacon Partners as an executive consultant in the Strategic Advisory Practice. In addition to consulting, she served as Director of Physician and Ancillary Systems for St. Joseph’s Healthcare System in New Jersey where she worked strategically with executive leadership, site administrative and clinical leadership, academic department leaders, and other stakeholders to transform ambulatory sites to the PCMH model of care.
Sandra served as an Adjunct Professor at Passaic County Community College and Essex County College where she taught courses in the Health Information Technology Program, as well as medical billing and coding.
Sandra received her Master of Healthcare Administration and her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Bellevue University and her Associate degree in Applied Science, Nursing Diploma from Union County College.
