Nicole Paladini

Engagement Manager

Nicole Paladini is an Engagement Manager with Chartis whose career in healthcare spans over 16 years, 6 of which have been spent in consulting. Her work has focused on hospital case management (including utilization management and clinical denials), physician advisor services, length of stay management, and optimizing throughput and capacity in both academic medical centers and community hospital settings.     

Nicole's recent experience includes working with organizations to conduct broad financial performance improvement assessments and subsequently support implementation of identified solutions. In particular, Nicole has a breadth of experience working with organizations to refine care management processes, enhance case management and throughput dashboards and reporting, optimize patient placement operations, and improve patient flow.  

Prior to joining Chartis, Nicole was a manager at Huron Consulting Group, where she led integrated engagements focused on length of stay reduction, hospital throughput and capacity, emergency department operations, post-acute care transitions, workforce challenges, and denials management. Before entering into consulting, Nicole worked as a front-line Social Worker at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. She then went on to lead multiple Case Management departments within BayCare Health System, overseeing women’s services, pediatrics, and adult population.      

Nicole received her Master of Clinical Social Work from University of South Florida and her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Florida State University.
