Michael Ferson is a Senior Partner at HealthScape Advisors, a Chartis Company. Mike has dedicated the last 15 years to advising healthcare payer and provider clients to transform business practices and execute a wide range of growth and financial optimization strategies.
Mike has extensive experience in value-based payment policy, program design, and enablement. Mike specializes in developing contracting and organizational structures that allow payers, providers, and capability partners to work together to deliver enhance value to healthcare purchasers and patients across all market segments, including employer- sponsored and government-sponsored markets.
Mike also has significant expertise in negotiating payer-provider agreements, designing clinical programs, provider networks and differentiated product designs, developing physician compensation models, and leading population health analytics.
Mike earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his bachelor’s degree in economics from Kenyon College.
