Kathy Poston is a Partner and Vice President of Engagement with the Chartis Center for Health Equity & Belonging. With a career spanning more than 25 years in healthcare, Kathy has extensive management consulting experience leading engagements and managing client relationships. Kathy partners with executive and senior leaders to advance their health equity and belonging initiatives for transformational change by providing strategic advisory, management consulting, and delivery services in a variety of organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, including well respected national associations.
Kathy’s role includes leading CCHEB’s consulting and delivery services, sales and business development, and partner and client relationships.
In addition to a more recent focus on health equity and belonging, Kathy has deep financial and operational experience with matrixed healthcare systems, specifically focused on physician enterprises. Areas of expertise include large scale physician enterprise assessments, management and operational redesigns, patient access and clinical workflow improvements, and physician compensation plan redesigns.
Kathy serves as a thought leader around women’s leadership inclusion and advancement issues. She also serves as an ally in the advancement of LGBTQ+ communities and people of color, having served as a member of several business resource communities in support of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Prior to joining Chartis, Kathy was a Managing Consultant at Berkeley Research Group and previously worked at Optum Advisory Services (part of United HealthGroup), and The Advisory Board Company. Kathy resides in Nashville, TN.
