John Narcross is a Partner in Strategic Transformation. He has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare strategic planning, system formation, and public policy, both as a management consultant and as a health system executive. His principal consulting focus lies in the areas of strategic planning, system formation, mergers and acquisitions, physician partnerships, and new business development. Most recently, John has been assisting clients in assessing and developing affiliation strategies with other local health systems. He also has been involved in developing regional growth strategies and physician enterprise development for large health systems across the U.S.
Prior to joining Chartis, John served as the Vice President of Strategic Planning for OhioHealth, one of the largest faith-based not-for-profit health systems in America, where he was responsible for enterprise strategy, integrated strategic and financial planning, clinical service line planning, physician alignment strategy, and organizational measurement and alignment.
Prior to OhioHealth, John served as a Senior Consultant at Medimetrix Group where he focused on strategic business planning for healthcare providers and payers nationwide. John’s experience also includes serving as a Senior Financial Policy Analyst with the American Hospital Association, consulting experience with KPMG, and applied research with Mathematica Policy Research.
John is a speaker at industry conferences on the topics of physician group growth strategies and enterprise-wide strategic planning. He received his Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago with concentrations in finance and business policy. He also graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Kenyon College with a bachelor's degree in economics.
