Jeffrey Sturman is a Senior Partner in Digital & Technology Transformation and co-leads the Digital Consumer Experience practice. Jeff has 30 years of experience in planning, implementation, management, and facilitation of digital transformation, organizational change, operational impacts, consumer experience, and overall governance. Jeff has served as an advisor to leading academic medical centers, integrated delivery systems, and community-based healthcare systems in the areas of IT strategic planning, system selection, planning, implementation, consumer experience, and digital innovation.
Jeff is a passionate healthcare executive, frequent contributor to various publications, speaker, and a change agent for consumer driven health. Jeff has spoken nationwide at healthcare conferences and CIO forums on several topics, from the future role of the CIO to innovations in transforming healthcare delivery and digital consumer experience, such as AI, patient flow, self-service, omni-channel, virtual health, and cloud strategies,
Jeff was previously the Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at Memorial Healthcare System, an over $3 billion revenue generating healthcare system in the southeast of Florida. He oversaw Information Technology, Clinical Engineering, and Contact Center/call center operations, encompassing a team of approximately 700 staff that supported over 17,000 employees. Before that, Jeff was a Partner with a national based boutique healthcare IT consultancy, as well as Cap Gemini Ernst & Young’s Healthcare Consulting practice.
Jeff holds a Master of Healthcare Administration/Health Services Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor in psychology from Indiana University-Bloomington.
