Today, The Chartis Group, a leading provider of comprehensive advisory services and analytics to the healthcare industry, announced that Michael Brown has been named the Oncology Solutions Co-Leader, effective immediately.
In his new role, Brown will continue to lead the firm’s oncology growth offerings, transactional and partnerships models, and performance improvement. Brown joined the firm in 2021 as a Director in Chartis’ Oncology Solutions practice.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to continue partnering with healthcare organizations across the country to work toward our common goal of improving cancer care,” said Brown. “A high-performing cancer program demands a sound understanding of shifting market dynamics, sustainable partnership models, and value-driven quality improvement solutions across the enterprise. I look forward to expanding my ability to help organizations transform care delivery in my new role.”
Brown has more than 15 years of healthcare experience with a focus on operational and financial management, clinical program development, strategic planning, physician and health system alignment, partnership engagement, facility planning, and technology implementation. Prior to The Chartis Group, Brown served as an executive leading MD Anderson Cancer Center’s national network, as well as in strategy and network development leadership roles at the University of Chicago Medicine.
Brown received a Master of Health Administration degree from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Oakland University. He also serves as Immediate Past Chairman of the board of directors of Fort Bend Family Promise, a nonprofit organization focused on meeting the needs of homeless families.
