Wiest is a recognized expert in performance improvement and organizational transformation, partnering with clients to realize long-term sustainable growth, process efficiencies, and overall financial and operational excellence.
Wiest's recent work includes directing large, complex projects in the following areas: financial turnaround and organizational transformation, mergers and acquisitions, business development, market share growth and profitability, strategic planning, sustainable revenue enhancement and cost reduction, and service line planning and execution. He combines his deep expertise in operational and financial performance improvement and change leadership to provide solutions for clients that address their unique circumstances while optimizing resources.

Prior to joining Chartis, Wiest served as the Performance Excellence business unit leader for Navigant (now part of Guidehouse), a leading healthcare consulting firm. Before beginning his advising career, Wiest served more than 25 years in numerous health system executive leadership roles.
Wiest received an Executive Master of Business Administration from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Frostburg State University.
