Amy Melanson, RN
Amy Melanson is a Practice Specialist in the firm’s Informatics and Technology Practice. Ms. Melanson has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare as a registered nurse with an emergency department operational background, program leader and consultant. Her breadth of experience includes clinical informatics, operational readiness preparedness, change management, clinician engagement, marketing and communications strategy and planning, and education and training for large-scale transformation initiatives. Most recently, Ms. Melanson’s work has focused on development of strategic communications programs to support the implementation of new technologies aimed at helping organizations achieve the goals of clinical transformation more efficiently. Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Melanson held roles as Manager of Informatics and Education, Communication and Support at Swedish Medical Center, Manager of Epic Education at John Muir Health and Director of IT Training at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami and completed her Bachelor of Arts, Psychology from Smith College and is a registered nurse.
