Jody Banks

Jody Banks is an Associate Vice President with Chartis whose career in law and human resources spans over 25 years, 20 of which have been spent in the medical device, pharmaceutical, and healthcare consulting industries. 

 Prior to joining Chartis, Jody was Director of Global Talent Development and Learning at UCB Pharma. While at UCB, she also led Talent Management for multiple US-based business functions and Canada, while developing UCB’s first DEI strategy and leading the implementation. Prior to joining UCB, Jody held multiple talent leadership roles at Boston Scientific, including talent management, talent acquisition, and diversity equity and inclusion. While at Boston Scientific, Jody developed the DEI strategy and implemented innovative talent acquisition programs to support growth and diversity. She has also developed her experience as an International Tax Consultant and an Assistant District Attorney Fulton County, Georgia. 

 In addition, Jody serves as a board member of the Daniels School of Business at Purdue University. She is an active member of the Georgia State Bar and the Employment Law specialty Section. She has been honored as Woman of the Year by HBA, Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, for innovative contributions to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in bio-pharma.  

 Jody received her Master of Business Administration from Purdue University, her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law, and her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University.
