Melissa H. Anderson
Melissa Anderson is a Principal at The Chartis Group and a member of the firm’s Strategy practice area. Ms. Anderson has a public health and healthcare administration background with more than 10 years of healthcare consulting experience. During this time, she has worked with a wide range of healthcare providers including hospitals, health systems, integrated delivery networks and children’s hospitals. She leads consulting engagements in the areas of: enterprise strategy, mergers, affiliations, and partnerships, network development, funds flow, service line strategy and feasibility studies.
Ms. Anderson recently worked with an integrated delivery network to develop a pediatric service line strategic plan prioritizing strategies for investment and preparing the organization for value-based care. She has also recently led an engagement for a large Catholic health system, where the work focused on two regional health systems advancing their network access and operations and developing a robust physician relationship management program.
Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Anderson worked as a Senior Manager for the healthcare practice of Kurt Salmon (acquired by ECG in 2016) where she led strategy-focused engagements. While she focused on a broad-range of strategic projects Melissa was also recognized as a firm resource on mergers, affiliations and partnerships and developed extensive knowledge in the Children’s healthcare sector.
Ms. Anderson received her Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Bachelor of Science in public health promotion and education from Central Michigan University.
