Robert Gallo is a Principal with The Chartis Group within the Informatics and Technology practice. He is a healthcare management professional with over 15 years of success creating, implementing, and leading healthcare strategy, digital transformation, information technology, and process improvement initiatives for a range of provider organizations, from community hospitals to Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). Rob co-leads the Digital Architecture and Technology sub-practice and has recently led projects such as Hospital at Home, Service Center of the Future, and Patient Engagement. He is a results-oriented, strategic leader able to develop top talent and build high-performing teams globally that focus on the alignment of people, process, and technology.
Prior to joining Chartis, Rob served as Vice President at Health Systems informatics (HSi) where he led the strategy and business development efforts for the firm. Rob also oversaw the strategy and delivery as Director of Strategic Services for the Epic consulting practice at a multinational professional services company that provides services in strategy, consulting, digital, technology, and operations and also created strategy and current state analysis to identify, analyze, and compare operational workflow, application, and clinical variations across the health system’s regions to understand commonalities and differences, among many other professional projects.
Rob earned his Master of Business Administration in finance and entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and his Bachelor’s in business administration from the Washington University Olin School of Business. He is certified in six Epic applications.
