Kelley D. Simpson is a Director with Chartis in the Oncology Solutions practice. Kelley has a passion for helping hospitals and physicians drive transformative cancer care delivery. Her strategic, analytical, and operational skills and organizational experience enable her to be a catalyst for change with physician enterprise and ambulatory networks. Hospital and oncology executives, faculty practice plan, and medical staff trust Kelley to work alongside their care teams to enhance oncology service line performance. Her 32 years of experience with the full range of challenges facing community and NCI/academic centers allows her to identify high-impact opportunities, while mitigating the tendency to problem-solve isolated issues that may not lead to sustainable practices. 

Kelley is recognized as a firm leader in business transactions, facilitating hundreds of arrangements among hospitals, health systems, NCI affiliates, and medical groups. Her clients value her proven track record of getting the deal done while providing pragmatic counsel to ensure arrangement durability. In addition, her post-transaction leadership through implementation to operationalize the arrangement significantly enhances the longevity and success rate of transformational care delivery models. 

Kelley is also a firm leader of the Chartis Oncology Solutions practice, assisting hundreds of clients with a variety of strategic and operational issues geared towards creating comprehensive, value-based cancer enterprises. Kelley views every oncology project as an opportunity to collaborate with her clients to transform cancer care delivery for patients in every community she touches, while creating sustainable business models that support operational and financial performance. 

Earlier in her career, Kelley was a Vice President at CDP Services. 

Kelley regularly contributes to leading industry publications, including her recent articles, “Painting a Brighter World in Cancer Care” and “Oncology’s Value-Oriented Framework” in Oncology Issues. She is a Director on the Association of Cancer Executives Board and serves on several committees for the organization. In addition, she serves on the Editorial Committee of the Association of Community Cancer Centers and on the Advisory Board of the Cancer Center Business Summit. Her personal passion of improving lives for cancer patients is exhibited by her membership on the Board of the Foundation for Hospital Art. 

Kelley received her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration from Troy University.
